As you start to Stage your home remember that the goal is to sell your house (for top dollar) and move! Anything you pack up and store now is a head-start on the moving process.
Staging Tips
Pack up your collections.  Dolls, figurines or baseball cards - too much of anything will detract buyers from seeing your house. That goes for family photos too.
1.
2.
3.
Clear your countertops.  If possible put all kitchen appliances out of sight and get used to hiding all your personal toiletry items whenever your house is available for showing.
Don't forget to stage your outside areas.  Front gardens and doorsteps should be welcoming and your patio is an additional entertaining area (and more square footage) in Arizona's beautiful climate.
4.
Thin out your closets.  If you can pack your out-of-season clothes your closets will appear more spacious and who isn't looking for a house with great closet space?
5.
6.
Add life and a touch of luxury to your home with simple and inexpensive accessories . A bowl of shiny green apples on the counter or beautifully fragranced candles in the bathroom.
7.
Fresh flowers and healthy house plants add color to any roo0m.
8.
Treat yourself to some fluffy towels for your new house and display them while you sell.  Remind the family not to use them!

Clear the refrigerator! The front that is. Take all those magnets, reminders and artwork off the fridge - you will be amazed how 'clean' the look is.
9.
Turn around and look back in to your home when you leave in the morning. Does it look inviting? Does it say "Wow - I would like to live here?"
